Biography

Don Cowan first joined Stevenage with minutes to spare on transfer deadline day in August 2011 for a five-figure fee. Then aged 21, he had previously progressed from the A team to the first team at Shamrock Rovers before moving on loan to Longford Town in 2010. The deal was later made permanent, as he scored 9 goals in 18 appearances for the Irish side.
